Jason Lane Bio
Jason Lane is representative of a new breed of stock trader and the future of stock trading – he offers a combination of knowledge handed down from those who came before him and insight into modern society and the psychology of the world’s youth. He is the third generation of stock traders in his family. Gary taught Jason technical analysis at an early age. Jason has been successfully trading stocks since he was a teenager and helped finance his college education by trading stocks online. He is now a trader, teacher and proprietor of GreenRoomStocks.com.
Jason’s abilities as a trader have earned him favorable mention in trading books, including a very favorable comparison to Dan Zanger, as well as being nominated for Trader Magazines’ Top 30 Traders under 30 in 2007.

Jason has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The State University of New York (SUNY) – Albany. Jason is a very successful trader and a protégé to Gary and other traders he has been introduced to by his father throughout the years.
His style is very influenced by his father Gary, and as such he uses a very technical approach to trading as well. He also includes many other factors such as industry trends, new products, component plays, etc. He believes in an “ear to the street” type approach to finding up & coming new companies, industries, etc, and uses technical analysis indicators as a timing mechanism for buying and selling.
He is the former Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a financial services company, and has worked in sports marketing as a national director of ad sales, and also with a national non profit organization raising awareness and fundraising. He is also an avid poker player and has written reports on the mental similarities between trading stocks and playing poker.
